Well I've been pretty obsessed with music since the age of 6 when I first started playing the piano and from there I got into songwriting in a big way, I just loved having that creative space to work with :)

I started playing guitar at the age of 13 and began gigging from 16. A year later I descided to teach myself how to play bass guitar and drums and I managed to blag my way into a couple of working bands and by 18 I was gigging professionally around 4-5 nights a week - great fun!

I first started promoting my own music about 7 years ago and I've had some wonderful highlights so far. I've featured on many mainstream and local radio stations & TV programs (such as live acoustic sets on BBC Radio Devon & Gemini FM) and I've also been interviewed in many well known publications (such as Maverick & Unsigned Magazine). I've played gigs in venues up and down the country (including The Sound Cafe Bar London, The Glee Club Birmingham, The Elm Tree Cambridge, The Cellar Bar Bracknell) and also supported many well know acts such as Never the Bride and Michael Weston King.

I've also been lucky enough to gig in other countries, these include Germany, Poland, Holland, Guernsey and Australia.

Festivals wise; last year I headlined the Acoustic Village at The Wickerman Festival (which was so much fun!). The year before that I was the first act on at the Liverpool Blues and Roots Festival (which again was an amazing experience). Other festivals I've gigged at include Priddy Folk Festival, Oxjam, Fordstock, Ottery Music Collective and many more. I've also gigged at a few theatres including the Tobacco Factory Theatre Bristol, The Barnfield Theatre Exeter & The Marine Theatre Lyme Regis and also Butlins in Minehead & Butlins in Skegness.

I've also got a residency playing at More Resturant in Dartington, Totnes and I gig up there 4 days a week (every Weds, Fri, Sat & Sun). This is my 3rd year up there now and it's a really wonderful place to play.

Internet wise I spend a lot of time (too much time actually) on MySpace where I've met some lovely people. I regularly blog about my antics and I've now got a group of people who seem to dig what I do. I also had chart sucess a few years back when I released my song Have My Love and it got to Number 1 in the Soundclick charts and stayed there for 7 weeks straight (this is a chart of well over 1,000 artists...so I was rather chuffed!). That same song was featured on a CDNetwork album released called 'Coffee & Music' which has now sold over 5,000 copies.

I'm also kept pretty busy in my studio with various projects I'm given to work on. I do custom drums, bass guitar & vocal backing tracks as well as write songs for a small indie label in the US and I mainly work with newly signed artists which I love. If you want to hear some of my studio work take a listen to my song 'Not Like You' which I play all the instruments you can hear - this track was mixed and mastered by US Grammy winning producer Kenny Lewis who did a fantastic job :)

I also play drums with a local punk band called 'The Reoffenders'... it's not really what I consider 'proper' punk - it's very tongue in cheek and loads of fun!

I think that's pretty much it. I'm sure as soon as I hit the submit button I'll think of something else to write! ;) Thanks for reading this far, feel free to get in touch with any questions....would be great to hear from ya!
